DEFINITION

(under subclass 56) Apparatus wherein significance is attributed to means whereby the apparatus may be changed, a) from an apparatus using other than fluid-pressure energy to an apparatus using fluid-pressure energy, or b) from an apparatus projecting one type or size of missile to an apparatus projecting another type or size of missile.
(1) Note. Apparatus described in (a) above is especially adapted for converting a firearm structure using explosive energy into projector structure using fluid-pressure energy. The claims in patents for such apparatus recite the firearm in terms of the environment that the adapter is to operate in rather than in terms of the firearm.
